Stand Up Bergen is an organization for comedians in the Bergen region. The organization runs courses and conducts shows with the aim of giving comedians a stage to stand on, as well as the follow-up that new comedians may need. Stand Up Bergen must be an expert body that is accessible, helpful and supportive. Stand Up Bergen seeks to fill a void on the theater scene in Bergen, the stand-up scene. For far too long, Bergen has had to make do with short-lived shows and stages that do not fulfill the stand-up scene's real purpose, namely to give the public the opportunity to experience varied stand-up at a reasonable price.
