Country Night with Marianne and Rune
Rune Rudberg and Marianne Sørensen Berg met in the summer of 2024 after Helge Johansen (the man behind the Norwegian version of "Shallow" with Carina Dahl and Åge Sten Nilsen) told them he thought they both had Norway's best country voices. They quickly hit it off and agreed to collaborate. Both have a deep passion for country music, and just a few weeks later, they went into the studio to record their Norwegian version of the megahit "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley. The song was an instant success, streaming heavily across countless homes.
Now, they’ve assembled a band featuring some of Norway's top country musicians and are ready to bring a full evening of country music to Chat Noir, filled with some of the best and most beloved country songs. Expect gems from both golden voices, heartfelt duets, and, of course… "Fuglens Sang".
